This year Barnardo's, a leading children's charity celebrates 150th anniversary. To recognise this remarkable achievement and to enable Barnardo's to continue transforming the lives of children in Wales, we are holding an anniversary ball in aid of Barnardo’s Cymru. We are joined at the event by Barnardo's Ambassador, Jamie Baulch who will share why he feels passionately about supporting our work.
The Masquerade Ball will be an unforgettable night of sparkling celebration, raising money to mark Barnardo’s 150th anniversary year so that that Barnardo's can be there for children and young people, always.
Guests will enjoy a drink on arrival, a three course meal, live music with Miller56 and photobooth fun. In addition there will be the opportunity to bid for and win amazing prizes.

150 years, hundreds of thousands of lives changed but we still need your help
Thomas Barnardo was appalled to witness the suffering of street children - young people with no hope, and nowhere to turn for help. He set out to give them a refuge, a place where they would be fed, cared for, and given an education - and so the first Barnardo's was founded.
Today, our work is more diverse than ever, because in a world with smart phones and social media, children face new dangers. What remains steadfast is our promise to children. From respite for young carers and children with disabilities, to expert therapies for the victims of abuse, we are here for children, young people and families. With your support we will be here for them, always.
