MassonFest is Back!
This festival of Dry-Tooling Fun for Everyone returns. Bigger and Better! MassonFest is a weekend of dry-tooling and outdoor activities near Matlock in the Peak District. This community-driven festival is open to all, from seasoned D12 demons to dry-tooling newbies.
No gear, no problem, just turn up and join in: Event sponsors and crag regulars will be bringing plenty of spare tooling kit for people to borrow . There will also be plenty of locals from the Masson Lees Dry-Tooling Group to share beta, and Team GB Ice-Climbers both past and present on hand to show you the ropes.
MassonFest is bigger and better!
As well as the dry-tooling , there'll be food and drink vendors, a stage for climbing talks, films and live music. There'll also be onsite camping.
Come along and share ideas, meet tooling and winter climbing partners, get involved in the dry-tooling community and see what the dark art of tooling is all about.
