About this event

The Health Systems Innovation Lab at London South Bank University will be offering a 2 year part-time Masters in Leading Social Change. In preparation for the start of the programme in the Autumn 2021, we are offering a series of three “taster” sessions for prospective students. The sessions are designed to offer an insight into the main themes of the first three modules of the programme in Year 1 (PGDip), giving participants practical experience of the teaching approaches and experiential methods that will be used within the programme.

These 2 hour online sessions will be offered at no cost to prospective students and will include suggested reading; blended learning materials, group discussions on the themes, and a large group session for connecting the ideas discussed with your own work context.

The first session 1 was held on 25th March, 3:30pm - 5:30pm and focused on Module One: Advanced Systemic Principles.

This second session (29th April 3:30pm - 5:30pm) will focus on Module Two: Advanced Systemic Practice and will consider how to establish practical authority for change through collaborative inquiry, critical analysis and reflexivity.

Session 3 on (27th May 3:30pm - 5:30pm) will cover Module Three: Social Research Methods and will provide an overview of the research methods that will be used in Year 2 to shape and execute your own research work leading to your dissertation for the MA award. You can sign up for the third session here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/132083387969

Whilst designed for prospective students, the content will be of value to others who are involved in working in the field of change, co-production and organisational development.
