It is a very difficult time for all businesses but you should still be planning for growth. Small businesses have had to adapt to fit the constraints of Covid 19 and the changing economy. Maybe your growth plans of last year are no longer relevant for this or the coming year. Does that mean that your marketing strategy is no longer fit for purpose?

This series of interactive workshops will take you through the fundamentals of setting up a marketing strategy to enable increased sales, brand development and business sustainability.We will help you ensure your marketing strategy fits with your growth strategy and is well researched, focused and comprehensive. Session 1: Preparing the Groundwork for your Marketing Strategy

Tue 30th March 2021 10am - 1pm

Within this session we’ll look at:

Your growth plans, analysing your business strengths and weaknesses, both in this current climate and for your future growth plans, and your research methods for your competitor analysis.

This session will lay the groundwork for building a successful marketing strategy that will stand you out from the crowd.

Session 2: Deep Diving into your Customers

Tue 6th April 2021 10am - 1pm

As a business, understanding who you want to sell your product or services to is ground zero; the most important part of building an effective marketing plan.

Within this session, we’ll look at research methods to perform online and offline, the right questions to ask from your existing or future customers and how to build a customer persona complete with motivations, hopes, interests, problems and gains.

We will look at how this information impacts on all areas of your business such as branding, content marketing strategy and your SEO strategy.

Session 3: Reaching your Customer and Getting a Sale

Tue 13th April 2021 10am - 1pm

Sales very rarely happen on first sight. A successful marketing strategy needs to plot your customer's journey from initial contact to a sale and beyond.

Customers need to discover your brand and be nurtured along their journey and we will explore the ever-increasing marketing tools to achieve this.

During this session, we are going to learn about your sales cycle and examine your customers’ buyer behaviour and journey to sales.


Are you eligible to attend?

You must be based in Dorset and fill in your full name and address details during the Eventbrite registration process. If we do not have your full address or you do not have a Dorset postcode your ticket may be cancelled.

You must have filled in the electronic registration paperwork via Docusign prior to the workshop or meeting. If we do not receive it in good time it may mean we cannot send you the Zoom link to access the workshop or meeting. Please check your junk mail folder.
