About this event

CIOB Tomorrow’s Leaders and G4C Constructing Excellence North West are collaborating to deliver a one of a kind event aimed at young professionals, graduates, students and people new to the construction industry. With support from Liverpool John Moores University and our sponsors, we are looking to deliver an event which flips the attendee’s perspective about networking. The “Master your Networking Game” CPD event represents the adventure of growing the personal brand by overcoming obstacles and utilising the correct techniques to get ahead of the game.

This year Paul Corke from ‘10eighty’ will be delivering the sessions. Paul is a dynamic speaker who inspires audiences with powerful insights on mindset, leadership, and personal transformation. He will help you to build confidence and competence in your self-awareness, communication and networking skills exploring a range of tools, styles and models to help with your self-development.

The sessions will focus on:

* Your strengths and social style to consider how to present yourself effectively when networking and communicating with others.

* Learning how to adapt to different social and communication styles to maximise your relationship building when networking.

* Understanding the NLP Model of Communication to identify and discuss communication style preferences.

* Considering your body language and how to use effectively when meeting people.

* Identifying self-limiting beliefs and replace them with empowering beliefs to help overcome any negativity or fears of networking and communicating.

* Learning Networking Top Tips to take away practical techniques to instantly impact your networking presence.

By the end of the event, participants will leave with a toolkit of effective networking strategies and a network of like-minded peers, ready to navigate the complexities of the modern professional landscape with confidence and poise.
