Each year the public sector spends over £230 billion pounds on a wide range of products and services which are all put out to tender. Are you missing out? Would you like to bid for public sector tenders but don’t know where to start?
The aim of this masterclass is to explain the processes and procedures and how you can keep up to date with new opportunities.
Specific elements include:

- Assessing opportunities
- Submitting a SQ and ITT
- Dos and Don'ts of bid writing
The masterclass will be led by Rachel Fletcher, Managing Director of FCS Associates Ltd. Rachel is a Tender & Grant Writing Specialist and Business Coach who has worked in a consultancy capacity for over 20 years for many public and private sector organisations, supporting them to access grant funding across all areas including capital investment, R&D and skills.
This event will be delivered by the ‘Sheffield City Region Growth Hub Enhancement Project’ that is part-funded by the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The project, for high-growth businesses in the Sheffield City Region, aims to increase their competitiveness and so help them grow and prosper.

We are pleased to be able to provide this masterclass free of charge due to funding from the European Regional Development Fund. There are a number of eligibility criteria for attendees which we will check using the online registration questions and in a phonecall to every attendee prior to the event.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
By car - the Q-Park Castlegate is next door and can be accessed from Park Square roundabout by turning onto Broad Street West. Secure Park & Ride sites are located across the city with the closest at Nunnery Square off the Sheffield Parkway.
By train - Sheffield station is about a 10 minute walk.
By tram - the nearest tram stop is Ponds Forge/Fitzalan Square. All tram services stop here.
By bus - various bus services stopping on Waingate and Haymarket.

How accessible is the venue?
The masterclass will take place on the 1st floor of the building. There are lifts and disabled toilets on every floor. Please contact us to discuss any special requirements you may have.
