Masterclass: Deliver high-quality, low-carbon Landscape projects
Overview
The climate emergency demands that every project contributes to carbon reduction and resilience. Join this focused half-day masterclass to gain the practical knowledge, skills and confidence to deliver low-carbon projects that add maximum economic, environmental, and social value.
The Landscape Institute (LI) has proactively compiled specific databases, explanations and guidance to support professionals who want to understand and implement carbon-reducing measures in their projects. This masterclass will equip you to use the resources effectively to both satisfy client demands and secure better low-carbon project outcomes. We will cover:
- Landscape Carbon Tools Database: A searchable database to help you quickly select the right carbon assessment method for your specific project needs.
- EPDs & PCRs Guidance: Clear "how-to" guides on Environmental Product Declarations and Product Category Rules, enabling you to select appropriate sustainable materials.
- EPD database: A searchable database of EPD databanks to help you select the appropriate one for particular products.
- Step-by-step approaches: The world of EPDs and PCRs is complex. We will take you through timelines and costs to give a good start-to-finish process for delivery.
This masterclass moves beyond theory to provide the skills to implement these tools immediately. You will gain:
- Real-World Application: Practical guidance on how to use these tools on projects, including when to apply assessments and how to correctly interpret the results.
- Foundational Knowledge: A clear understanding of what to consider when performing carbon and nature assessments.
- Confidence in Delivery: The knowledge to ensure your projects are both environmentally sound and meet crucial developer business plan needs.
Join us to ensure you can confidently deliver verifiable, reduced-carbon projects that consistently add measurable value to your clients' portfolios.
