Overview
Dive deeper into the world of video game audio design and voice-recording! Three seasoned industry experts will give you first-hand insights into the many challenges, pitfalls and joys of supporting a game experience via SFX, dialogues, music and more.
Based primarily on a case study of the multi-language, multi-platform game "SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide", you will learn about the differences in European and US-based voice recordings, how to work with top-tier talent and how to plan and implement your game dialogues efficiently.
You will hear about dynamic soundtracks, working with licensed music and how to create a game soundscape that supports gameplay without overpowering it.
Through their diverse backgrounds, Daniela Etzinger (Senior Game Designer), Gabriel Schönangerer (Senior Audio Designer) and Martin Kreuch (Senior Publishing & Creative Producer) will give you a holistic process overview of the creative, implementation, licensing and production behind high-quality game audio.
