Path Finding: The Playwright’s Relationship with a Director/Dramaturg

Live Theatre, Newcastle

Plays are like maps, offering key milestones and waymarkers to guide actors and creatives in taking a story from page to stage. But how do you find the path and establish a narrative route through dramaturgical development? In this practical masterclass, we’ll explore working collaboratively with a director/dramaturg and taking a new play from the seed of an idea to R&D and into production.

This is a Box of Tricks' PlayMakers Masterclass hosted with generous support from Live Theatre. Registration is Pay What You Decide (PWYD) donation (minimum £1). All donations go directly towards our PlayMakers Appeal with every penny raised reinvested in playwrights and theatremakers.

If you have any access requirements, email playmakers@boxoftrickstheatre.co.uk so we can support your needs.
