About Linda

Originally from the Czech Republic, Linda’s passion for food and wellness was deeply influenced by her daughter’s diagnosis with type 1 diabetes. This pivotal moment inspired her to study biomedicine and nutrition, leading to a mission: to empower others through food.

Linda now shares her expertise in cooking classes and workshops, helping communities make more nutritious, informed choices. Her approachable teaching style blends nutritional knowledge with practical kitchen skills, making plant-based living both accessible and delicious.

Blending tradition with innovation, Linda reimagines her favorite childhood Czech dishes, transforming them into nutritious, plant-based meals while preserving their authentic flavors.

• 🍛 Roasted Seitan with Red Cabbage A savory, slow-roasted plant-based main dish, full of bold, traditional flavors.
• 🥔 Potato Dumplings (Knedlíky) Classic Czech dumplings — soft, comforting, and perfect for soaking up rich sauces.
• 🍞 Povidlové Buchty (Yeast Buns Filled with Plum Jam) Pillowy sweet buns filled with tangy-sweet plum jam, just like Linda’s childhood favorites.

Refunds/transfers: Please understand our charity needs time to resell your tickets as we rely heavily on the income generated by our fundraising classes. We require a minimum of 14 days' notice for any cancellations or transfers once you have booked onto a class. You are also welcome to give your ticket to a friend or family member in case of last minute illness (just email classes@madeinhackney.org to let us know).
