This two day event suports all those graduates and masters students considering developing a research career within the ecological sciences.

The first day is designed specifically to provide advice on finding and getting the right PhD.

The following day offers an opportunity to present research carried out during UG and masters courses. We aim to provide a friendly environment for all particpants presenting at their first scientific symposium with an option to receive feedback from more experienced ecologists.

The BES is also pleased to offer an evenings networking event that will highlight the careers that might develop following a PhD.
