About this event
- Event lasts 1 hour
We all know that asking the right questions is an essential skill for managers and leaders. But how do we actually develop that skill, especially when leading hybrid or remote teams?
In a dispersed environment, communication often becomes transactional, and the pressure to have answers can drive managers into "fix-it" mode. But when leaders shift from solving to asking, they unlock space for ownership, reflection, and strategic thinking.
This webinar is your chance to practise that shift.
Join us for a highly interactive session where you’ll experience an Action Learning Set: a powerful peer learning method, and explore what makes a question truly powerful. You’ll experiment, reflect, and walk away with tools to lead more effectively in complex, virtual environments.
Facilitated by Joan Keevill and Gaëlle Delmas-Watson, this session will help you move from quick fixes to deeper engagement by changing the questions you ask.
Why This Matters
In today’s complex and fast-changing world of work, no one person can hold all the answers. The most effective leaders know how to create space for others to think, contribute, and act. From aviation to surgery to construction, teams succeed when everyone feels confident to raise ideas, explore problems, and escalate challenges: together.
This session will explore how managers can lead with confidence without having to know everything: by unlearning the instinct to fix and learning the art of asking instead.
