We are looking for 12 schools with 2 participants from each school - preferably one class teacher and one Maths lead. Attendance to all three session dates below are compulsory.

Dates:

Friday 24th November 2017 – 9:00am-3:30pm

Friday 9th February 2018 – 9:00am-3:30pm

Friday 23rd March 2018 – 9:00-3:30pm

Teachers will work together to understand what ‘working at expected standard’ and ‘working at greater depth’ might look like and how this could be evidenced.

This work will take place over three separate days, with gap tasks in between.  Teachers will develop skills in providing children with opportunities to work at greater depth and will be able to use assessment to establish which children need that challenge, for each step of learning. 

The course is free of charge and is part of a series of Maths Hub projects fully funded by the DfE. Cancellations less than 7 days before the first session will incur a £25.00 non-attendance fee per teacher. This fee will also apply to non-attendance to the following two sessions.
