Maternal Journal from St Helens on Zoom December 2
Event Information
About this Event
This is our monthly Maternal Journal taster session #maternaljournal . I also provide specialist courses for those who wish to explore deeper in a supportive circle of mums. Your mental and emotional health matter, so take some time out just for you.
Please book your free place through Eventbrite here and you will be sent the secure Zoom login details and password the day before we meet. To help ensure the session is not accessed is a disruptive way, please do not share the Zoom login, but rather share the event with friends and ask them to book their place as well.
Who is Maternal Journal for:
A safe space for mums (including those who identify as a mum) who are experiencing the emotional and physical changes and challenges of parenthood in all its various stages.
You might be:
+expecting,
+a new mum,
+adopting/fostering,
+a grandmas or great grandmas.
You are welcome here in this supportive creative circle.
How we meet and what to bring:
We meet on Zoom from the comfort of your own home. Find a comfortable and if possible quiet space to nurture yourself when we meet. Bring a drink, snack, journal/sketch book and pens/art materials.
What's included in a session:
-Welcome and introductions
-Guided relaxation with led reflection, visualisation or mindfulness activity
-A self-led time to respond and create
-A time to be heard if you like to share out loud.
-A Poem of encouragement to end.
Maternal Journal is an inclusive circle for those who identify as a mum in the broadest sense. If you have any questions about this please do not hesitate to contact me.
Maternal Journal provides a safe space where you are invited to only share what they feel safe to share. In addition, what is shared in the circle is to be kept confidential, unless it is a safeguarding issue and then Aileen will need to talk with you about this and follow up with appropriate agencies to support you.
