To mark the launch of Lotte Latham’s chapbook “Maternal Potential” birthed with Carrion Press this summer, we are hosting an experimental scratch night.
⭐️ Join us at Westgate House, N7 8XH - the studios of SCRAM! Collective, a free space provided by Hypha Studios from 7pm - 11th September 2025 ⭐️
👶🏽 Expect: Fast and freaky works on the themes: Riot-mamas / Planned Unparenthood / Reproductive Rights / Freudian Slips / S*x working mamas / Frittering eggs / Postpartum Psych / M.I.L.F / Madonna / C*nt.
🤰🏼 Lotte is a professional hedonist with an untidy mind. Activist and Author of newly released chapbook “Maternal Potential” (Carrion Press ‘25) and Dear Mr Andrews (Guts Publishing ‘23) -
🐑 Carrion Press is an indie publisher dedicated to platforming radical and experimental writing and art.
🐙 SCRAM! are an artist collective who share a community-focused approach. Their practices include filmmaking, muralling, painting, printmaking, animation, photography and performance. They make work in a former clothing warehouse off the Caledonian Road, provided by Hypha Studios.
🍼 Drinks: will be available at SCRAM! Collective's bar on Thursday evening, with donations going towards running the studios. The event is free but tickets must be booked via Eventbrite.
👠SWARM - 10% proceeds from book sales will go to the grassroots organisation, SWARM collective (The s*x worker advocacy and resistance movement ). It is S*x Worker Pride week afterall
👼 Accessibility info: the exhibition will take place on the second floor. The building is not wheelchair accessible and there are stairs to every level with no lifts (4 steps to front door, 19 steps to first floor, 19 steps to second floor). There are two toilets on the second floor and these do not have any grab rails.
