Description

Led by trainer Nathan Crook, these FREE sessions will help you understand more about how to support and teach Maths. The focus for each session is decided, and circulated in advance according to the needs of the attendees.

The next Session, held on the 19th March will be

'Developing meaningful recording and feedback in maths'

Capturing children’s mathematical thinking remains an important aspect of their mathematics learning, particularly as part of formative assessment to inform small next steps in the learning and teaching cycle.

These workshops will clarify practical approaches that can be used to capture such thinking linked with pupils’ development of fluency, reasoning and problem solving.

Ideas will make links to Ofsted expectations in line with the Education Inspection Framework (EIF).

Who is it for? Year 1-6 teachers and TAs from ODBST schools are welcome to attend.

Cost: Free to ODBST Schools, £10 for external Schools
