CRC Press book on the subject.
The material is very much in the spirit of the influential writer Martin Gardner,
and it can be used to liven up parties and mathematics classes, as well as
providing jumping-off points for undergraduate independent study and seminars.
College Dublin, and then a PhD from Cornell University. He's been teaching at
Spelman College, in Atlanta, Georgia, since 1988.
Association of America's Allendoerfer Award for excellence in expository
writing. His hobbies include inventing mathematical puzzles and card tricks,
many of which he's published at MAA.org starting in 2004, some have also appeared
