The Mathematics Teacher Network aims to give maths teachers from primary and secondary schools across England the opportunity to engage in a long-term professional learning network.
Teachers will have the opportunity to come together and learn from each other and hear from external experts.
The MTN events are free to attend.
MTN is a collaboration between La Salle Education, AQA and Oxford University Press - together, these organisations fund and coordinate the events so that teachers can benefit from high quality professional development without eating into their subject budget.
Where possible, events are held in a volunteer host school, again helping to ensure MTN events are free of charge.
The autumn terms events give teachers the opportunity to network and share good ideas with each other, with plenty of discussion time throughout the day. Workshops will address key issues including problem solving, assessment and the use of concrete objects and images for learning mathematics across all age groups.
