About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 15 minutes

Could there be a mathematical theorem that requires colouring pencils to solve? Or could there be a way to use maths for maps?

Discover how maths has helped us find the most efficient ways to colours in maps. Along the way, we’ll travel back in time to see how people used maths many, many years ago.

Could they have known anything about prime numbers? Why is it so easy to count in fives? What symbols did they use?

We will also uncover some of the most fascinating symbols they used!

This workshop is strictly for ages 7–8 only.

Refunds can only be issued for tickets cancelled at least two weeks (14 calendar days) in advance of the event date. Please note that this supersedes our normal event terms and conditions.
