Mae ein rhaglen newydd o gyngherddau clasurol a chyfoes amser cinio wedi cychwyn sydd yn cynnwys perfformiadau cerddoriaeth fyw gan ystod amrywiol o gerddorion a genres. Gallwch fynychu'r cyngherddau hyn yn ddigymell yn ystod eich egwyl ginio, mae'r rhaglen yn para 45 i 55 munud ac yn aml yn arddangos cerddoriaeth siambr, datganiadau piano, cerddoriaeth werin, gitâr glasurol a deuawdau clasurol. Mae perfformiadau bob yn ail ddydd Mercher rhwng 1pm a 2pm yn ein Gofod Perfformio, mynediad trwy roddion.

Fel y byddech chi'n ei ddisgwyl mewn cyngerdd amser cinio, bydd ein cwrt bwyd ar agor yn gweini amrywiaeth o fwyd a diod blasus. Efallai yr hoffech chi hefyd wneud amser i ymweld â'r oriel cyn neu ar ôl y cyngerdd.

Rydym yn croesawu y Nova Saxophone Quartet i berfformio at y 10fed o Fedi a da ni yn edrych ymlaen yn fawr iawn!

Mae Pedwarawd Sacsoffon Nova yn bedwarawd bywiog sy'n dod i'r amlwg a ffurfiwyd ym Manceinion ym mis Medi 2023 o fyfyrwyr a graddedigion RNCM a Phrifysgol Manceinion. Eu perfformiad cyntaf oedd yn yr ŵyl AliveFest Reborn! dan arweiniad myfyrwyr lle neidion nhw i'r olygfa berfformio gyfoes gyda gweithiau deinamig a ffrwydrol gan Gordon Goodwin a Chris Evan Hass. Ers hynny maen nhw wedi perfformio mewn lleoliadau enwog yn olygfa gerddoriaeth Glasurol Manceinion gan gynnwys Canolfan Anthony Burger, yn ogystal ag Eglwys Gadeiriol Wakefield a thu hwnt.

Gyda ffocws ar repertoire cyfoes, mae'r pedwarawd yn mynd i'r afael â gweithiau heriol sy'n archwilio ystod deinameg ac emosiwn syfrdanol y sacsoffon. Maen nhw'n mwynhau cydweithio â chyfansoddwyr myfyrwyr ac wedi comisiynu gweithiau gan gynnwys Supernova gan Rob Hughs, a berfformiwyd am y tro cyntaf ganddyn nhw yn 2023, gyda recordiad stiwdio i'w ryddhau'n fuan!

Mae aelodau'r pedwarawd hefyd yn enwog yn unigol yn olygfa broffesiynol sy'n dod i'r amlwg ym Manceinion, fel arweinwyr, cyfarwyddwyr cerdd, unawdwyr a chyfansoddwyr sydd wedi ennill cystadlaethau.

We welcome The Nova Saxophone Quartet to perform on the 10th of September and we are so excited for this show!

The Nova Saxophone Quartet is an emerging, vibrant quartet formed in Manchester in September 2023 from students and graduates of RNCM and the University of Manchester. Their debut performance was at the student-led festival AliveFest Reborn! where they leaped into the contemporary performance scene with dynamic and explosive works by Gordon Goodwin and Chris Evan Hass. They have since performed at renowned venues in Manchester’s Classical music scene including the Anthony Burger Centre, as well as Wakefield Cathedral and further afield. With a focus on contemporary repertoire, the quartet tackles challenging works that explore the range of the saxophone’s dynamism and breathtaking emotion. They enjoy collaborating with student composers and have commissioned works including Rob Hughs’ Supernova, which they premiered in 2023, with a studio recording soon to be released!

The members of the quartet are also individually renowned in Manchester’s emerging professional scene, as conductors, musical directors, soloists and competition winning composers.
