Join us for the relaunch of this SIG!

This event will relaunch the UoB MATLAB SIG, providing an opportunity for users from across the university to share information on their use of MATLAB and learn from each other.

Full agenda to be confirmed, but will include:

  • Dagmar Fraser - SIG Chair - introduction to the SIG and MATLAB in Psychology
  • MathWorks update
  • Holly Middleton-Spencer (Research Associate in Theoretical Physics) - The Universe in a Bottle - Simulating Cosmology with Cold Atoms
  • Kiran Phalke (Research Software Engineer) - From Data to Model Dynamics : System Identification using MATLAB
  • Mani Entezami (Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering) -
    MATLAB and Me: It’s Complicated (But it works) - including: Why MATLAB?; How I use it: data processing, GUIs, and web apps; What I’ve learned: hidden gems, performance tips, and workarounds

There will also be an optional hands-on workshop session led by MathWorks.
