Matsuura UK Open House 2025 – You're Invited!

Matsuura UK is delighted to announce that our annual Open House will take place on November 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2025, at our newly expanded and fully refurbished facility in Leicestershire.

This is a drop-in event. You are welcome to arrive any time between 9am and 5pm.

This flagship event will feature the UK launch of two new automated multi-pallet 5-axis machining centres:

· MAM72-70V PC6

· MX-520T PC7

Building on the success of the world-renowned MX-520 platform, the MX-520T PC7 introduces CNC turning capability and expands pallet capacity from 4 to 7 — all within the same compact footprint. This powerful addition offers Ø520mm turning capacity, a pallet work size of Ø520 x H330mm, and up to 90 onboard tools, while retaining the exceptional 5-axis machining performance Matsuura is known for.

The MAM72-70V PC6 delivers large-capacity 5-axis machining with outstanding machine accessibility – both to the machining enclosure and at the pallet changer workstation. Equipped with an integrated 6-pallet Automatic Pallet Changer, it enables flexible, unmanned production of large, complex castings, billets and components. With capacity for up to 520 tools, each pallet supports workpieces up to Ø630 x H450mm and 500kg in weight — maximising productivity for outsized and demanding applications.

Our Additive Manufacturing Centre will also unveil the latest in metal 3D printing: the HP Metal Jet. As the UK’s exclusive reseller and technical partner for HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) technology, we now offer a full spectrum of mass production 3D printing solutions, including polymer and metal. Live 3D printing demonstrations at this Open House will include:

· HP MJF 5600 3D printer

· Roboze Argo-500

· Full post-processing workflows using DyeMansion equipment for de-powdering, surfacing, and dyeing — transforming raw prints into high-value finished parts.

Additionally, the Muratec line of fully automated CNC lathes will be showcased in live operation, with exclusive deals available on select UK stock models. These hand-built, proven machines are known for their innovation and reliability – with a rapidly expanding UK user base.

To top it all off, lunch will be served daily (12 - 2) by our friends at Oregano Pizza – offering fresh, made-to-order wood-fired pizzas!
