Event description

Description

The WannaCry virus has elevated the importance of Information security in boardrooms across the world.

Yet while the recent attack on the NHS and others has highlighted the impact that a cyber security breach can have, this case is far from an isolated incident. In fact, recent Government statistics have shown that nearly half of all UK businesses suffered a cyber breach or attack in the last 12 months.

Find out how you can upskill your workforce and protect your business at our free business lunch.

Event format:

Led by Professor Kamal Bechkoum, professor of computing and head of the University of Gloucestershire Business School, at this event we will share the details of our new degree apprenticeship in information security and explain how you can use your apprenticeship levy to benefit from this programme.

There will also be the opportunity to find out more about our other innovative apprenticeships, including our degree apprenticeship in the Internet of Things and Cyber Systems.
