About this event

This RISE masterclass will focus on how to maximise delivery within a funded retrofit programme - from understanding your housing stock and data to navigating policy direction, delivery scope, and the realities of cost caps and funding mechanisms. Whether you’re preparing a bid or planning for mobilisation, this session will help you assess your current position and understand what’s realistically deliverable.

What you’ll learn:

• How to interpret policy direction: (e.g., Fabric First, heat pumps, low-cost measures, whole-house approaches) and what it means for your delivery strategy
• What “knowing your stock” really means: identifying EPC D–G properties, understanding archetypes, construction types, age, and geography
• How to assess delivery potential: based on stock distribution, rural challenges, and concentrations of treatable homes
• How past experience should shape your programme: when to progress to complex measures like EWI, and when you should avoid over-stretching capacity
• Understanding your procurement readiness: incumbent contractors, PAS 2030/PAS 2035/MCS requirements, and how early procurement planning affects delivery timelines
• How to position yourself for success before bidding: aligning stock, experience, resourcing, and compliance ahead of submission

This session will give you a clear framework for understanding where your organisation stands today, what’s realistically achievable with your stock and capacity, and how to build retrofit proposals that maximise delivery without unnecessary risk.
