Maximising Productivity

About this Event

These are not normal times. Many of us are working remotely for the first time or working from home under different circumstances with all our family around us or no-­one at all. We are operating under alternative work schedules and locations. External preoccupations may make it more difficult to concentrate. Unable to do so many of the things we would normally do outside of work, means the work/life space and balance is blurred.

So how can we stay productive? How can we manage our virtual teams in these testing times? What measures can we put in place to make sure we get the most out of the working day with the least amount of stress? What practical steps, tools and culture do we need to build to carry on and keep working.

Course Objectives:

  • Identify your biggest 'time stealers' which reduce productivity and establish solutions to reduce or remove their negative impact.
  • Acquire practical time management skills for scheduling, planning and prioritising work.
  • Discuss and practise a range of recognised time management techniques such as effective delegation, assertively saying 'no' and negotiating alternative solutions.

About the trainer:

Camila Reed is a highly experienced trainer and professional development coach working globally for multinationals, UN agencies, the legal sector, NGOs and individuals. With a proven track record in communications, leadership and digital consultancy, she is used to working remotely and using a variety of online tools to train and work productively. She has experience in managing large global teams and setting up flexible working initiatives gained on the senior news leadership team at Thomson Reuters and other international organisations.
