The Chamber is launching a new mini series of 4 workshops, to support the third sector in their business journey. The individual events will be held around the region:
17th June - 'business thinking'
16th July - 'maximising revenue and articulating your value'
TBA September - 'funding, finance and financing'
TBA October - 'business leadership mindset'
For the 2nd workshop in our series, we are in South Tyneside, on 16th July at One Trinity Green, with a theme of 'maximising revenue and articulating your value’.
Agenda:
12:45 Arrival and networking
13:00 Welcome & introductions
13:05 Workshop led by Elevating Teams
Break
16:15 Conclusions & look forward
The purpose of this session is to help third-sector leaders develop the confidence and clarity to communicate their value in a way that attracts earned income — while aligning their teams around a shared story and the belief that everyone is selling through the conversations they already have.
Key outcomes, by the end of the session each participant will have
- A concise value statement including an example customer persona
- Co-created ideas to address the biggest obstacles to revenue growth
- Committed to taking action to build revenue and agreed to hold fellow participants accountable.
- A set of exercises they can use to engage their teams in taking further revenue building actions, thus creating a shared organisational mindset around “everyone sells”
These sessions have been designed to be participatory in nature & as such will be led by industry experts, to support the wider third sector. To enable everyone to get the maximum from each event, we will have a smaller group of around 20-30 people per session.
Ticket priority will be given to Chamber members who are charitable organisations (including CIC's).
Please note that lunch will not be provided during this session, but light refreshments will be.
Who will I meet?
You’ll meet a mix of people from across the region, representatives from the third sector who are looking to share insights, resources, and contacts to help each other grow.
What do I wear to a Chamber event: We don’t have a dress code, but we suggest dressing as if meeting new clients. Your comfort is key.
Behaviour and conduct: our events create an inclusive space for individuals and organisations to meet, where we expect all our attendees to behave with courtesy and respect, to both each other and Chamber colleagues.
The first session will be delivered by Andrew Smith of Elevating Teams.
