A conference for Scotland's drugs research community, supported by the Society for the Study of Addiction.

This event will be of particular relevance to Scottish post-graduates, PhD students, early career and peer researchers.

This event aims to develop delegates' skills as effective as impactful drugs researchers. The programme includes presentations and workshops on:

  • Maximising impact by informing drugs policy
  • Implementation science
  • Involving people with lived/living experience of drug use in research
  • Ethics and governance issues
  • Getting your work published in academic journals
  • Knowledge exchange via online tools and social media
  • How to write a successful grant application
  • Informing and influencing government through effective policy briefs

There will also be poster sessions with a prize for the best presentation.
