Event Details

The May meeting will take place on Tuesday 5th May 2015.

GUEST ORGANISATION: NA - skills refresh session

Unfortunately, Andrew and I have been unable to secure a guest organisation for tomorrow’s CTT meeting.

However, we would still love to meet and have a “refresh session” using all the creative thinking tools we have learned so far - plus Peter informs me he has a *NEW* tool to teach us! There will still be pizza, there will still be creative thinking and there will still be some worthwhile fun to be had.

HOSTING: Jenny Thompson / Andrew Wade

TIME: Prompt 6pm start.

PRICE: Don't forget £5 to contribute to the cost of the meeting.

OTHER: Refreshments included.

About Creative Thinking Torbay

Creative Thinking Torbay (CTT) are a group of idea driven Torbay people that meet several times a year (often monthly) to think creatively with a guest not-for-profit organisation. The aim each time is to come up with ideas that could help make a difference to the guest organisation.

The group was originally formed in September 2011 by past students of Peter Redstone’s ‘Creative Thinking Workshops’. Since then many other people have joined the group. It is open to anyone that would like to develop their creating thinking practice.

It is free to join. Members are asked for a £5 contribution to food costs at each meeting.

Meetings are from 6-9pm. Dates for 2017: First Tuesday of the Month - no meetings in July or August. Venue: Occombe Farm, Preston Down Road Paignton TQ3 1RN

To become a CTT Member, go to LinkedIn Groups and search ‘Creative Thinking Torbay’ or email

When you join the LinkedIn Group ensure that notifications are turned on and dates for meetings will be sent out to you.

What members can expect: A fun, friendly and interesting evening with the opportunity to challenge your thinking skills and refresh your brainstorming techniques; all the while doing something good for a Torbay organisation.

The guest organisations are normally referred to the group by members. Although, any not-for-profit organisation that operates in/around Torbay is welcome to ask for a meeting.

The many guest organisations CTT have met with so far include

  • Play Torbay,
  • Home-Start Torbay,
  • South Devon School of Gymnastics,
