About: The Mayor's International Business Programme is leading a delegation of HR/people tech companies to meet big corporates managing a large number of staff, whether directly employed, remote workforce or freelancers. The mission will consist of a number of face-to-face meetings, roundtables, networking events, and site visits.

We invite all London-based companies providing HR/people tech solutions to help corporates manage their staff. This includes (but is not limited to) the following: HR tech, staff training/learning, employee benefits services and employee wellbeing.

Eligibility criteria: To join this trade mission, your company must fit the sector focus and be a member of the Mayor’s International Business Programme. When registering your interest, you will be asked a set of follow-up questions to ensure these criteria are met.

Any companies wishing to apply who are not yet part of the Mayor's International Business Programme, please note that you will need to apply and be accepted onto the programme to take part in the mission. Our eligibility criteria include: 20% YoY growth, £1m in revenue or funding equivalent (or combination of both) per annum, 10-249 employees. *Companies participating in the Trade Mission will be required to pay an administration fee of £500 + VAT to attend*

For companies who have not participated in a Mayor's International Business Programme Trade Mission before, you must attend the Trade Mission Bootcamp on 10th January 2020. Register here

Costs covered by the programme include:

  • Accommodation/hotels during the mission
  • In-market activities (receptions, etc.)

Costs NOT covered by the programme:

  • Delegate transportation
    • Administration fee (£500 +VAT), which is required to attend
    • Expenses in-market

    Draft Programme (to be confirmed):

    Day 1 - Monday: Introduction meetings to the ecosystem and local authorities (AM), corporate roundtable and networking reception (PM)

    Day 2 - Tuesday: Corporate visit (AM), roundtable meetings with local corporates and delegation dinner (PM)

    Day 3 - Wednesday: Visit and networking with peer innovators (AM), flight to 2nd city and networking reception (PM)

    Day 4 - Thursday: Visit and networking with peer innovators (AM), corporate roundtables (PM)
