The cause
Two thirds of people seeking refuge in Greece are adult men. None are eligible for housing.
Mazí Housing exists to plug some of this gap.
We provide safe, stable housing and support for young, displaced men who are homeless and unaccompanied in Greece. We are the only housing provider for adult men in Greece.
Our model breaks the cycle of homelessness, providing housing and support. Our approach affords every resident the stability and opportunities they need to build their own route out of an unstable situation: everything we do is aimed at creating safety, and maximising the choices our residents have after Mazí.
The need
Our small team needs your support to run two apartments through 2026. This November, another committed group of runners will take on the Athens Marathon to go the distance for those whose jouney to safety has been much longer than 26.2 miles.
Ahead of the race in Greece, we're bringing together our UK friends & families – and anyone interested in learning more about and supporting Mazí's work – to celebrate these brave runners and boost our fundraising efforts.
