Turbulence Ahead: the future of general insurance
Insurance institutions aren’t known for chasing trends and maybe you wouldn’t want them to be. For an industry where customers are best served by the sober assessment of risk, there’s something reaffirming about the industry’s steady bearing in the FinTech choppy wake.
“Turbulence ahead: the future of general insurance” looks at disruptive innovations in the insurance sector forcing transformation such as the emergence of peer-to-peer insurance and the expansion of digital intermediaries. It considers transformations outside of the insurance industry, including big data and blockchain and discuss how the combination of these internal and external forces is pushing general insurers to rethink their long-term strategies.
