Sun 9 April 2017, 10:00 – 12:00 BST
The McVities Jaffa Cakes Mini Mud Madness event is Northern Ireland's most popular Off Road Adventure race for the younger generation . The event has two age group waves. The first is for those aged 6-11 years old and is over a 1km course which takes participants over , under and through a selection of obstacles, some man made and some that are just naturally very muddy very and wet. The second wave is for those aged 12-16 years old and is over a 2km couuse which is equally muddy and wet. The course is by far the muddiest one in Ireland which is why the kids love it . The course is manageable to all those who have a basic level of fitness . The event attracts a wide range of participants from the super fit athlete through to those who are simply looking for a challenge for themelves or with their friends.

We are pleased to welcome back Marie Curie to the event as the official charity partner of the Mud Madness and Mini Madness events in 2017 and we would encourage you to raise sponsorship for them.
Raising sponsorship monies or fundraising for Marie Curie is optional for participants but they are a charity close to many people's hearts and we would encourage you to support them.
Marie Curie is here for people living with a terminal illness, whether it’s terminal cancer or any other illness, and their families, providing expert care, guidance and support to help people get the most from the time they have left.
The Marie Curie Hospice in Belfast provides specialist round the clock medical and nursing care at the end of life and Marie Curie Nurses work night & day, across Northern Ireland, caring for terminally ill people, providing emotional support for their families and enables people to be nursed at home surrounded by the people they care about most.
Marie Curie is reaching more people and their families living with a terminal illness: people at all stages from diagnosis onwards not only near the end of life.
They do this by providing the right information and support by telephone and online, and our Helper volunteers are there to help with the little things that make a big difference; visiting terminally ill people in their own homes, to have a chat over a cup of tea, just listen or help someone get to an appointment.
Marie Curie is a leader in research into better ways of caring for people with terminal illnesses. What we learn affects the care and support we provide, we share it with others so we can make care better for everyone.
Join Team Marie Curie
We are encouraging as many of our Mud Madness participants as possible to sign up and fundraise for Marie Curie. Every £20 raised helps fund an hour of care.
We need your support to keep us in people’s homes and in communities across all of Northern Ireland. Together, we can improve care for everyone at the end of their lives and bring light in the darkest hours.
When you register for Jaffa Cakes Mini Mud Madness and if you tick the box to opt in to join team Marie Curie, you will receive a fundraising pack with everything you need to get your fundraising started as you take on the muddiest challenge in Northern Ireland!
