MDN Conference - Our World Today, yet Ready for Tomorrow
Tue 25 April 2017, 11:00 – 17:30
We have designed a day that will explore the changing global and UK context for our work, and well as providing practical tools, and a space for us to consider how we can make most difference.
The morning session will reflect on current realities for the voluntary sectors of England, Wales and Scotland with the chance to hear from Karl Wilding, Director of Public Policy & Volunteering NCVO, Pat Armstrong, Chief Executive the Association of Chief Officers of Scottish Voluntary Organisations, and Anna Nicholl, Director of Strategy and Sector Development, Wales Council for Voluntary Action.
After lunch, a choice of workshops will cover the latest thinking and updates on collaborative structures, essential resources, branding & communications and charity law, and the afternoon plenary will be the chance for us to reflect on the position of specialist consultant in the current times.
The day will close with a glass of wine, and we are looking forward to our first MDN dinner at Ciao Bella from 6.00pm. The menu includes vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.(Please select the meal option when booking and Gail will send you menu and payment details).
