What should I bring?

We will be stopping for lunch so please bring along a packed lunch. Snacks and water to keep you going, it's surprising how peckish you get, it must be the fresh air!

What should I wear?

The weather in the Peak District can be interchangeable, layers are recommended, including waterproof jacket and trousers if you already have some.  A warm fleece or jumper, and a hat and gloves.  Don't forget sturdy and supportive footwear e.g. walking boots/shoes or trainers.

What if I can't walk 10 miles?

We will be walking a circular route which begins and ends at the White Lion. Clear instructions will be provided before the walk, and you can turn back and wait at the White Lion if you need to.  There will be an accessible section towards the end for those with restricted mobility can join us.

Question 4

What is the purpose of the walk?

To raise awareness of Cauda Equina and the work Cauda Equina Champions Charity does.  All money donated will goes to Cauda Equina Champions Charity (www.championscharity.org.uk).

I have registered for the walk, what should I do next?

Where can I park?

There is limited parking at the White Lion and street parking. Car sharing is encouraged.

Yes please spread the word and bring along your friends and family.  All individuals will need to register a place on Eventbrite.
