During this session, we'll be preparing the ground to sow wildflower seeds. A mix of perennial wildflowers and grasses will benefit insects, like bees and butterflies, as well as small mammals. This is one of a number of new meadows being created in Ivybridge this autumn and, once established, they will add life and colour around the town.
This event will be a great opportunity to get some fresh air, meet new people, and make a positive impact on the environment. No experience is necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to get involved.
We'll bring all tools and equipment needed for the day but don't forget to wear approapriate outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Remember to bring plenty of water and a packed lunch if you are planning to stay the whole day.
If you'd like to join us for this event, please let us know by booking a ticket here. This will help us get an idea of how many people will be attending and prepare accordingly.
