Join ParkLife to cut and rake the meadow at Totnes Cemetery!
During this session, ParkLife will be cutting the grass and volunteers will be raking and bagging. The aim of this activity is to prevent the soil from becoming nutrient-rich, favouring the establishment of wildflower meadows and welcoming insect pollinators.
This event will be a great opportunity to get some fresh air, meet new people, and make a positive impact on the environment. No experience is necessary - just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to get involved!
Don't forget to wear approapriate outdoor clothing, and bring along work/gardening gloves if you have them. Remember to bring plenty of water and a packed lunch if you are planning to stay the whole day. If you have a garden rake at home, feel free to bring it along (in case there's many of us!)
If you'd like to join us for this event, you can let us know by booking a ticket here. This will help us get an idea of how many people will be attending and prepare accordingly.
