Meadow Makeover Day at Gosforth Nature Reserve

About this event

Join us for a hands-on volunteer session to help restore the haymeadows at Gosforth Nature Reserve. We’ll be digging out knapweed and introducing more species to make a richer mix of wildflowers, improving habitat for pollinators, birds and other wildlife. All tools provided, just bring enthusiasm and suitable outdoor clothing!

Please wear old clothing you don't mind getting dirty and sturdy boots. Always a good idea to bring wellies too, just in case!

Under 16s welcome but must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

Please note in the event of really bad weather or high winds, this session cannot go ahead as the reserve will be clsoed for safety.
