About this event

Travel & Outdoor • Other

Join us for a hands-on day helping to restore part of a wildflower meadow using locally harvested, native wildflower plug plants from Cheshire meadows. This is a fantastic opportunity to support both wildlife and a local community group.

What to expect:

  • Planting a variety of wildflower plug plants
  • Advice on creating your own wildflower meadow at home or in the community
  • Learn more about native wildflowers found in Cheshire
  • Tips on long term meadow maintenance

Why it matters:

Wildflower meadows are vital habitats for bees, butterflies, and countless other species – but they’ve declined drastically over the past century. By taking part, you’ll be helping restore a piece of this precious landscape while gaining the knowledge to do more in your own spaces.

If you have any questions please contact bwilliams@cheshirewt.org.uk.

Please note this volunteer day is for adults only.

We’re really proud to offer our Wild Network events for free so that everyone can join. If you’ve enjoyed our events and feel that you can, we’d appreciate any donation to help us continue to put these events on for free. Thank you!
