Sturdy walking shoes or wellington boots are recommended for this event. We would also advise checking the weather forecast before and bringing plenty of layers and waterproof clothing if needed.

Please do feel free to bring your camera or binoculars and even your note books if you fancy doing some recording on the site.

What if I am running late?

Please try and arrive up to 10 minutes before the start time of the walk. We will wait up to 5 minutes after the advertised start time and no longer. If you are not going to be able to make it on time, please join the group as quickly as you can.

What if I can't make it?

If you are unable to make the walk, please let us know as soon as possible. Our walks are always fully booked and have waiting lists, so please allow other people the opportunity to attend if you can't.
