Has your loved one, family member or friend been diagnosed with Dementia?

We understand the importance of keeping connected to the person you are caring for, and to maintain a positive relationship. In the early stages of a diagnosis, information available about the condition can be considered too little to fully understand what to expect for the future or an overload which becomes overwhelming.

We offer you an opportunity to learn what is needed every day, to improve living and the steps you can take to manage the changes whatever your personal journey brings. Creating opportunities and enabling individual interests, choice, maintain independence and an improved quality of life.

This is a 3-day programme that will take place on the following dates.

Monday 11th June

Tuesday 12th June

Wednesday 13th June

Time: 10am - 3pm

The Training will enable you to access up-to-date information and resources on Meaningful Daily Activities including Person Centred Approaches.

Programme content will cover:

>Understanding the importance of personalised activities

>Motivation, self-esteem and confidence building

>Meaningful activities including Technology and reminiscence

>Health & Well-being

>Therapeutic activities

>Fitness & Sports

>Increasing social activity and interaction
