Meaningful Daily Activities Training for Care Sector Professionals

This training will provide (Activities co-ordinators / Care staff, Health Care Professionals) a better understanding of how daily tasks and activities can support individuals to maintain independance,choice and stimulation at home or living within a residential care home.
This (1-Day a week workshop takes place over a 3 week period) training will enable staff to access up-to-date information and resources on Meaningful Daily Activities including Person Centred Approaches.
Programme content will cover:
>Understanding the importance of personalised activities
>person centred approaches
>Motivation, self-esteem and confidence building
>Meaningful activities including: Technology and reminiscence
>Health & Well-being
>Fitness & Sports
>Increasing social activity and interaction
>Where’s good to go? – Dementia Friendly Outings
> How to evidence base activities.
>Where to go for activity resource
This course will take place every Monday (Once a week for 3 weeks)

This course is on OFFER for just £200 pp.
A certificate of attendance is given upon completion of the course.
