Event description

Description

Join us on 22nd January to celebrate the winners of the MECC Healthy Hero Awards! This is an opportunity to showcase the work of outstanding Camden or Islington staff members or volunteers who have been able to inspire local residents to look after, or make a change to their health and wellbeing. Come along and hear the stories of using MECC in practice, and get the opportunity to visit our Public Health service stall marketplace, where a number of Public Health commissioned services, including adult weight management, stop smoking, employement, and mental health support services, among others! This is a free event open to frontline staff and volunteers across Camden and Islington. Refreshments will be provided.

If you have not yet been on a MECC training course and are interested in doing so, we are offering a session following the morning event, free to any frontline staff or volunteers in Camden or Islington. Lunch will be provided to those attending the training, which will run from 1:00pm-4:30pm. If you would like to register for the afternoon MECC training session, please do so by following the link here.

For any other questions, please contact Effie Argyropoulou, at efi.argyropoulou@islington.gov.uk.
