About this Event

The Mechanics Of Music Management’ is a training programme from MMF delivered by CMU Insights and led by Chris Cooke and Marcus O’Dair. A series of five webinars exploring best practice and current trends in artist management, together these sessions provide a comprehensive guide to artist revenue streams and business models, music rights and record deals, fanbase building and direct-to-fan relationships, and explain where the manager fits in with each of these strands of the business.

The Interactive Role of the Music Manager

The role of the music manager has gone through many changes in the last decade, and modern music managers now take on responsibilities that labels, publishers and other parties would traditionally undertake. This webinar looks at where music management fits in the music industry and how it’s developed from the traditional role to a more interactive relationship between artist and manager. It will go through the different ways your artists make money, how each artist’s business can be structured, your role in running that business, and the business partners you will work with along the way.

Full price for each individual webinar is £66+VAT. Members get 50% discount and sister organisations gets 25% discount. Please e-mail lovisa@themmf.net for info and discount codes.
