Students of BA Media and Communications and the Department of Creative Professions and Digital Arts at the University of Greenwich cordially invite you to the Media Mixer evening – space to create, connect, network, have fun and talk about media, whatever it might mean for you today. The future is uncertain, but having good connections can never hurt. Drinks, media talks and a DJ set are on us.

About the participants

Dr Jodi Nelson-Tabor

Media degree graduate, Jodi has built her career around the impressive variety of media in different countries. A filmmaker, researcher, creative consultant and key media strategist with global experience, she is a professional trainer/facilitator in the areas of creative and professional development, digital innovation, and online entrepreneurship. With a PhD in Critical and Creative Practice in Film & Media, Jodi continues to focus her research on community-driven filmmaking and emerging methodologies of film practice specifically within the social media feminist praxis.

Sarah King

Sarah King is a BA in Media and Communications finalist at the Univerity of Greenwich, currently finishing her Major Project in The Evolution of Narratives in Media. Sarah is very interested in the immersive nature of the media and the future of marketing. After University she plans to work in Experiential Marketing.


Eduard Fadgyas

Eduard Fadgyas is a Sound Design student at Greenwich University, with a lot of passion for electronic music and soundtracks. The tracks that he composes come from experimentation and exploration of diverse sonic nuances while keeping a melodic and rhythmic vibe.

BA (Hons) in Media and Communications

BA in Media and Communications at the University of Greenwich is designed for people who want to be creative, be in London and do not want to limit their options. Emphasising digital media and online platforms, the programme aims to educate makers, curators and editors of digital content. The programme introduces students to academic, creative and professional approaches to communications in the digital age.
