About this Event

Do you enjoy reading stories or listening and talking to people?

Would you like to be a news presenter, host a show on the radio or write for magazines?

In this 5-day course, you'll learn what it's like to be a journalist through interactive games and exercises leading up to a presentation for the group in a Zoom recorded News and Features Show which you get to take home as a keepsake.

We'll work together to learn the best ways to interview people, find and edit stories, come up with snappy headlines and soundbites and present with confidence.

Whether you are interested in a career in media or just want to build your writing and presenting skills whilst having fun, this is the course for you.

Open to all abilities. Limited to ten places. In addition to the 1 hour live interactive class (10 am - 11am each day), participants will be given a daily independent task to complete before the next session, email support with exercises and personalised feedback and coaching. Access to a Laptop or tablet with a working webcam and microphone is required. Please get in touch in advance if you have any questions or if your child has any specific requirements.
