Description

The 1st Medical Image Analysis Network (MedIAN - funded by EPSRC) CodeFest aims to bring together early career researchers with an Engineering and Computer Science background with leading scientists from Biomedical and Clinical disciplines to collaborate intensively over two days on medical image analysis challenges.

CodeFest, which will run over 2 days, is a creative, social, and educational event with strong emphasis on multidisciplinary exchange with the ambition to generate new and exciting scientific insights. Attendees are expected to attend for both days.

Challenge

- AI for Brain Scans: Learn to use deep learning for analysing the brain

- Braincraft: Exploring the brain in Minecraft

- AnatomyVR: Anatomy explorer in virtual reality

Register your interest to attend CodeFest. You will then be asked to provide information on your expereince - successful applicants will be notified by mid-August. Limited bursaries will be available to support attendance upon application.
