About this event
Yoga Nidra, also known as “yogic sleep,” is a deeply restorative practice that guides you into a state of conscious relaxation. In this session, you’ll experience the calming benefits of Yoga Nidra while cocooned in the comfort of an aerial hammock. The gentle swaying and support of the hammock allow you to relax even deeper, helping you release stress, restore balance, and experience profound relaxation for the mind and body.
What to Expect
– Guided relaxation to calm the nervous system and promote deep rest
– A comfortable, supportive hammock to enhance your experience of stillness
– A soothing blend of breathwork and visualisation to help you disconnect from mental clutter
– The opportunity to fully surrender and enter a meditative state of conscious rest
– A nurturing environment for complete relaxation and rejuvenation
Open to all levels, this session is ideal for anyone looking to release tension, find clarity, and rejuvenate the body and mind. No prior experience needed.
Why Hammock Relaxation?
Suspended rest is naturally calming—relieving pressure from the joints, opening the breath, and signaling to your body that it’s safe to relax. The gentle rocking activates the vestibular system, supporting your body’s innate ability to regulate and restore.
- Suitable for pregnant mamas - The hammocks help you feel weightless and remove pressure on your back. The music we play during the session is gentle and designed to calm your nervous system.
- Hammock weights 400kg
Every Thursday 12.30
This event is set in our brand new studio back in Hackney Downs. A space where self-care and conscious living meet. Check out We The Conscious for all our sessions and events.
