The aim of the session is to give people professionals some of the basics of mediation, the process, their role and how it can be applied in the workplace. Topics of discussion also include parties in mediation being neurodiverse and safeguarding in mediation.
About the speakers
Nikki von Bülow MSC, Chartered MCIPD, MSoM
Nikki is an accredited civil, commercial and workplace mediator, trained by the Society of Mediators. From an HR background, she has a particular interest, and weight of experience, in workplace dispute resolution. With a Master’s degree in Human Resources (HR) Management from the London School of Economics she has over 25 years’ experience including holding corporate HR roles and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel (CIPD) and work as a volunteer mentor and coach for the CIPD Steps Ahead programme.
Natalie Slade, Chartered FCIPD
Natalie has over 23 years HR experience, is an independent HR Consultant and Accredited Mediator who offers workplace mediation services to clients and acts as an external mediator to provide employers with a practical approach to resolving disputes through mediation which is beneficial to all parties involved.
Paula Mitchell
Paula has over 20 year’s experience in finance, a degree in Psychology, an MA in HR Management, CIPD Level 7 accreditation and is an Accredited Mediator and Investigator. She has a wealth of experience working across different fields including professional services, finance, travel, IT, retail, large corporations, SMEs, and start-ups.
