Summary:
Unresolved conflict causes stress, low morale, impacts mental health, affects patient safety, causes dysfunctional teams and high staff turnover. Using a problem-solving approach to conflict helps created win-win outcomes that promote effective communication. In this workshop we share the core mediations skills essential for leaders to help build confidence in applying these skills to resolve low level conflict.
Aim:
To provide leaders with an overview of mediation and develop confidence in applying core mediation skills to address low-mid level conflict.
Objectives:
1. To identify and understand issues which are likely to make conflict difficult.
2. To convey yourself and your messages with confidence
3. To equip you with core mediation skills to manage conflict effectively
4. To create win-win outcomes using a mediation approach
Outcome:
By the end of the online workshop, you will be able to:
· Have an understanding of what mediation is and how it can be used
· Understand the core mediation skills leaders can use to resolve conflict effectively
· develop the confidence to facilitate a problem-solving approach in a difficult situation

Nicole Eisele, Conflict Resolution specialist, Mediator, Coach and Team Coach
Biography
Nicole is the founder and Director of Eisele Consulting. She believes the prevention of conflict is equally important as the resolution, especially where an organisations performance is concerned. As part of a conflict prevention initiative, she works strategically with organisations to implement positive engagement, diversity, and change, as well as coaching individuals to improve communication, leadership and resilience.
Nicole believes in the power of working with teams and individuals as they increased awareness and understanding of the organisational systems, they work in. She works to ensure that clients have enough clarity to create dialogue and debate to engage others in collaborative work. Nicole believes in the results that can be achieved through good quality conversations.
Nicole is an accredited workplace, family, and community mediator, Restorative Justice Practitioner and ICF Professional Certified Coach and Team Coach. She has holds a degree in Psychology, Masters of Law in International and Commercial Dispute Resolution, and a Masters in Organisational Psychology.
