Event Details

We are holding these events to provide medical directors with the opportunity to come together to network and build peer-supportive relationships, share learning and discuss national priorities and common challenges.

This event will focus on the implications for healthcare following the general election; learning from deaths and urgent and emergency care. It will be interactive with lots of time to have your say as well as listen to key speakers on relevant topics.

The workshop will commence at 10:00am (registration from 09:00am) and will conclude at 4.30pm.

This is the second in a series of medical director events and there will be time to share your ideas to ensure the events are a good use of your time.

Register now for the opportunity to:

  • hear about the national priorities following the general election and NHS Improvement's role in supporting you

  • discuss the new requirements for providers in the review and reporting of deaths

  • look specifically at the issues and support around urgent and emergency care
  • share what you are currently working on so that other MDs can learn from your experience

Who should attend?

  • Foundation trust and NHS trust medical directors

Please register as soon as possible as spaces are limited and allocated on a first come first served basis.
